Red Diamond’s story began in 1906 with a horse-drawn wagon. William Fitz Donovan launched a local food delivery enterprise in Birmingham, Alabama, but after seeing unprecedented success in a specific niche of his business, “Donovan Provision Company” quickly converted into a premier maker and provider of quality coffees and teas. In 1908, William Fitz Donovan named his coffee after the highest quality gem in existence: a RED DIAMOND. And the rest is a living legacy.
