Desserts & Treats
Holidays, birthdays, or just to say that you are thinking about someone are great reasons to give gifts. Selecting a gift that is meaningful and personalized can be challenging and stressful. A gift of gourmet tea or a gift basket with various tea accessories and gourmet tea is a great gift to encourage people to take time for themselves. There are hundreds of gift baskets pre-assembled and ready to be purchased online they can be found in almost every single theme imaginable. Chocolate lovers, wine lovers, coffee lovers, now that tea drinking is becoming fashionable again there are tea-themed gift baskets as well, most of the tea gift baskets do feature gourmet tea and not a tea that can be easily found at the grocery store. Because loose tea is the gold standard for tea preparation gourmet tea baskets most commonly feature loose leaf tea. If someone is an avid tea drinker, this will not likely be a problem as he or she will know how to brew loose tea. However, for a casual tea drinker, this may prove to be a challenge. So know the person you are shopping for, or make sure that the basket you select has a tea strainer and instructions on how to use the tea.
When selecting a basket that is pre-assembled consider the person you are shopping for, make sure it is suited to his or her tastes. If you are shopping for a person who is a casual tea drinker and primarily purchases tea at the grocery store and sticks mostly to black tea getting a basket that heavily features herbal tea may not be the best choice. Tea has a wide appeal but it is also pretty personal. If assembling a basket yourself, you have much more leeway. I would include a high-quality loose tea an air-tight tea container if it does not come in one already, a pretty teacup and saucer, a tea infuser (tea ball), and maybe some treats to have along with the tea. There are so many options to choose from.
